Form Drilling Process

A thermal drilling process is a method of making a hole and simultaneously producing a bush from the parent metal this gives additional support as a bearing surface or for a thread.

Make a hole and form a bush in one operation. Standard drilling machines can be used, or we can supply. 1 US cent per drilled hole is the cost

Frictional heat is generated by speed and pressure so that the material can be formed.

Fast - only takes one second plus one second for every millimetre of material thickness.

The completed bush gives additional support as a bearing for a thread.

Threads are produced by roll forming. No material is removed.

Strong connections with no parts to break free.
